Introduction and Purpose January 17, 2007

Posted by The Probabilist in : [Articles] , trackback

I’m not a rags to riches story. Neither am I an obesity to fitness, self-destructive to enlightenment, poverty to prosperity nor ignorance to wisdom story. I’m your every day, middle class, indifferently healthy, neutrally aware, spiritually mediocre and scholastically average guy who decided to attract unlimited wealth, health, consciousness, abundance and understanding.

This site is dedicated to all people who are selling themselves short on all or any aspects of life and reality as we know it. It is aimed towards bursting out all that potential that you know you’ve identified within yourself, but you just haven’t come to terms with to unleash. You may right now find yourself stuck in complacency, comfort, neutrality, ease and conformity when describing your overall performance of making a difference. And you know who you are!

Now that I have your attention, it would be silly of me to state that making the differences and eliciting the changes take long time and demand your attention, willingness and engagement. But I do. There are plenty of sources that promise easy results and require upfront payment. Over here, you and I are being and doing things opposite to why and how others function - because we know that the usual information and methods haven’t and don’t get through to us. (Yes, one of my favourite words is and) ;)

Through introspection I’ve discovered my own form of genius to be optimization and adaptation. These two innate traits have kept me trapped in mediocrity. Firstly, everything I did was to optimize and mould forth the solution that gave a satisfying result with least possible effort. Secondly, I used my adaptation trait to merely adjust to the challenges that reality presented to me - the good and the bad. I finally realized that I’m the one that should be pushing the challenges out to reality and use the characteristics of optimization to be the best I can be, and adaptation to prove that it’s not that hard to accomplish and stick to something once I get myself to achieving a goal and getting a subjective, first-hand perspective of what it feels like to experience and live by. That which doesn’t serve a purpose and a positive impact is simply discarded without equating it with failure!

Everything I write about goes through the process that I don’t concern myself too much about how things work (causes analysis paralysis & perfection procrastination). The essential question is do they work? What I write about, decide to optimize and adapt into my life may not be what works and gives positive results in your life. This is why everything presented here is free to read and link to. Your payment comes through being the person you were meant to become and doing what that person does best. This in return will give you what you want to get in and out of your life.

I’m not here to prove anything to anyone, and I’ve never felt that urge. I’m proving to myself that whatever challenges I’m facing, I can make them happen and go from there. The reason it’s available to you is that it drives me to update myself continuously and provide a service to others who deliberately seek it. Most people want the proof first and then they believe. You need to believe or have faith in yourself first to get whatever proof serves your own goals and purpose!

Logic analyzes, but either faith or belief takes action.
Both are required to make working and lasting changes.

Take Action

I love your style and your no nonsense approach - if it works use it.

I used to analyse a lot but now I am not so sure :-)

Have faith, decide what you want and just go for it - that’s what has worked for me.

Good luck and I look forward to reading more from you.

Arvind

You’re Right ON!!!

I especially like your blog about making $ with your blog. I had a disagreement with my programmer today about this. I have an idea to generate more revenue for the business. He didnt want to implement it because he said it was tacky to display ads on sites. Well, I reminded him how he got paid and all the other people in my office.

Its easy to stand on high ground when you arent the one making sure people’s salaries are getting paid or you don’t have the responsibility of placing food on your families table. Since when did making money become evil? Try living without it and then see if you money is evil.

Money itself isnt evil. Its what you do with it.

Anyway … terrific blog!!! I enjoy you writings.

Keep up the good work.
